No reference picture for this? That fact increases my admiration of your art skill tenfold. XD You employ the colors, values, and shading/lighting very nicely as always. It has the feeling of an autumn sunset, and while yellow is usually a happy kind of color, this has sort of a somber feeling to it. The plants in the foreground are so rich with detail with the placement of all the elaves, grass, fronds, bark, etc. Wonderful eye you have. The point of view of the scene seems that we're standing at some slightly elevated height, like on a ridge or even sitting in a tree.
The only thing I can nitpick at all here are the clouds. Some seems a bit too dark and defined, mostly near the top right. Though, I may be mistaken if those are infact leaves caught up in a breeze. XD
The way you have the background fainter and blurred in a way shows that you know how to work distances well in a piece like this.
To wrap up, this is another fantastic piece of natural scenery. You deserve every bit of that exhibit of yours.
